UV Products and Their Applications

Among the products designed and developed by ACOMA, there are
AcoUVPlus and AcoUVCarbon. They have similar characteristics, but they offer many possible applications.

COMMON POINTS

The rubber surface compound makes AcoUVPlus and AcoUVCarbon ideal for being resistant to the ghosting effect, the annoying flaw that produces shadows and irregularities, which can undermine the integrity of the print.
Both the products are characterized by a high quality rebound which limits the loss of thickness and they don’t require any re-tensioning during use.
AcoUVPlus and AcoUVCarbon are also ISEGA certified, so suitable for food, medical and toys industry.

THE DIFFERENCES

The substantial differences between AcoUVPlus and AcoUVCarbon can be found in the print run and in the print quality, although it is always high.

• AcoUvCarbon exceeds 25,000 impressions/hour with good printing quality;
• AcoUvPlus, the 20 thousand impressions/hour, but with a high printing quality.

THE APPLICATIONS

Both printing blankets have ideal properties for printing with UV, H-UV and LED-UV inks.

The main applications concern:

• metal decorating;
• sheetfed printing;
• packaging;
• narrow web.
